Two Weeks Left

I have two weeks left of my leave before I go back to work. It seems so weird as I have been off since November. The boys and I have been doing great the past two weeks on our own. We have a good routine established, which make it much easier. They are changing day by day- getting bigger, cooing, smiling, and observing a lot around them. It is a lot of fun! Shane and I have also found the school for the boys. It is Park View Montessori and it is two blocks away from our home. I knew it was the right fit after being there and meeting with the teachers after about 10 minutes. They will start there after daddy is home with the boys for two more weeks after mommy goes back to work. I am glad to have that done and to feel good about where they will be going!
Last weekend we had another visit from Grandma Rathbun and Aunt Linda came to meet the boys. We had a nice visit and it was very sad for them to leave.
I took this, this week of the boys smiling at the same time.

All Good Things Must Come to an End

Well since we came home from the hospital we have had family members stay with us to help us out with the twins. The twins Grandma Rathbun, Grandma and Grandpa Schroer, Great Aunt Phyllis, Great Great Aunt Betty and Aunt Mary have all stayed to help us out. Tomorrow our last visitor went home and we are on our own. We have appreciated everyone's help over the past weeks. Each week brought something new and it was good to have someone else here to help us out as we adjust to our new lives, our new family. I have gotten out with the boys a few times with help from others and each time it gets easier. We have also gotten into a good routine with twins and this past Thursday I managed the whole day on my own without any help!!! It was a huge milestone and I am more confident moving forward. Shane and I are anxiously awaiting the "Sleeping through the night" milestone!!! Here are few random pictures of the past few weeks.

We Don't Get Out Much....

But when we do, we have something to report! The boys had the second checkup with the doctor yesterday. They are grow like weeds! The doctor says everything is going well and the boys are doing great! I survived the first shot (of many to follow) for the boys.
Andrew is now 7lbs 10oz and 20in
Nathan is now 8lbs 9oz and 21in
The boys were four weeks this past Thursday. What a month it has been. We have had a lot of visitors and in addition to family who have stayed with us to help. Grandma Rathbun was up first the day after we got out of the hospital and she stayed for a week. Then Grandma and Grandpa Schroer came and stayed for almost 3 weeks. Now Great Aunt Phyllis and Great Great Aunt Betty are here with us until the weekend. Everyone has been a tremendous help with the babies, in addition to helping out with things to do around the house. Shane and I are so grateful to everyone and couldn't have done it alone. The twins are having a great time meeting all of their relatives and friends who have come to visit. I have attached a few pictures of some of our visitors!
