Mary surprised us by visiting us -- the first aunt picture.
At long last, after all the anxious waiting, we have reason to lose sleep. The Rathbun Boys have graced us with their presence. What a week it was for us. On Tuesday, we went in for our weekly checkup and the Dr went ahead and scheduled delivery for Feb 12. We became even more excited on Wednesday when we had our ultrasound and was told that with the size difference between the two (one was much smaller during ultrasound readings) that it would be ok to move it up to Feb 5. Later that day, Melissa had some pain and after talking to the Dr, we were told to go to the hospital for 'monitoring'. Five hours later, we are heading to the Delivery Room and the boys were born. Andrew Allan Rathbun arrived first at 2:34 AM, followed by Nathan Adam Rathbun at 2:38 AM. We heard them cry for an instant and that was the beginning of our new chapter. The picture above was the first family photo taken just after 3 AM. We spent all day Thursday with them in the room -- both of us too excited to be tired. Melissa finally collapsed at around 9:30 Thursday night, with me shortly after that. Above are more pictures.
